My finished recycled bathroom photos

Hi.
Finally sat down to update my blog.   Here is the finished pictures of my recycled bathroom.  Later I will add pictures and directions for doing the project.  Enjoy.  I hope you find inspiration here.
I have been collecting these vintage mosaic plates for awhile and was excited to have a place to display them.  The wall behind them is someone's fence I took out of the trash.
The medicine cabinet was given to me. I stripped it down and refinished it. I used some wainscoting from my parent's garage for a new back.  The mirror was from a neighbor cleaning out a garage.

Th
I made the shower curtain from some burlap and trim I had collected or was given.
The mosaic was done out of plates, recycled tiles, glass gems from the dollar store, rocks, shells and glass circles.  Some of the tiles were samples tiles with recycled glass.

T
I got the shelf at a yard sale and added the mosaic.  The ceiling is an assortment of industrial tile samples, trim samples, counter samples and corks.

I kept the vintage sink and the original floor.  The metal bin under the sink was given to me so I repainted it and put towels in it.

I made the towel bars with copper pipe and elbow and added metal pieces from antique light fixtures.

I made the window trim from wood I salvaged from the trash.  The doors are antiques from my mom's house.  I used the tops of bottles and glass gems to make the mosaics above the window.  The trim about the window is part of an antique door.  Facucet handles are fastener to it.  The cooling rack decorates the top of the window.

The wainscoting on the lower walls is made from antique doors.  The shelf below the window is a piece of wood from a pallet.  The mirror was left by the former owner of the house.   The brown bottles were bought at a yard sale.

This is what it looked like after I gutted the wall and before the mosaic went up
